What Our Graduates Say
The reviews below are publicly available on Google and were written by graduates of Anandam Yoga School.
"I had an incredibly beautiful week at Heimbach in Germany while taking part in the Yoga Nidra Teacher Training. Sandeep and Katharina are very good and really nice teachers with a lot of knowledge of and experience with authentic yoga. I am happy that they shared this with me and I feel that this made me grow in my yoga path."
Suzanne Timmermans · Google review, Yoga Nidra Training, Germany"I recently completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Anandam, and it was one of the most beautiful gifts I have ever received in my life. My intention going into the course was to expand my understanding of the yogic philosophy, anatomy, and deepen my personal asanas practice. I walked away with everything I hoped for, and more than I could have imagined."
Krisi Tsakiris · Google review, 200-Hour YTT"Beautiful location located in the green hills of the Eifel. Learning from Sandeep and Katharina was very precious, they have so much knowledge about and experience with what true yoga is. And they create such a nice atmosphere with their beautiful personalities as well!"

What We Are Not
Choosing the right yoga teacher training is just as much about finding the right fit as it is about finding a good school. Anandam Yoga School may not be the right choice for everyone.
If price is your main priority. Our 200-hour trainings are not the least expensive option. The tuition reflects small groups, personal teaching by the founders, and an all-inclusive residential experience. If you are primarily looking for the lowest price, another school may be a better fit.
If you prefer large training centers. We intentionally keep our groups small and teach one cohort at a time. If you are looking for a large campus with many teachers, frequent start dates, and bigger groups, our approach may not be what you are looking for.
If you are only interested in the physical practice. Our curriculum includes asana, but it also places equal importance on philosophy, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, and the broader tradition of yoga. If you are looking only for a physical fitness qualification, another training may suit you better.
If you are looking for multiple Bali dates. We currently offer one 200-hour training in Bali each year. Most of our trainings take place in Europe, with additional programs in Canada and one training per year in Rishikesh.
Why Students Choose Anandam Yoga School
Every student's experience is different, but certain themes appear again and again in the reviews. Graduates often mention the combination of traditional yoga teachings, evidence-based anatomy, and the personal attention that comes with learning in a small group.
At Anandam Yoga School, Yogi Sandeep Atri and Dr. Katharina Austermann teach together, bringing together traditional yogic knowledge and modern science in an environment where every student is known personally.
