At Anandam Yoga School, Yoga is more than a certification. It is a way of living, learning and connecting. As a family-run school led by Sandeep Atri from India and Dr. Katharina Austermann from Germany, we combine traditional yogic wisdom with a modern scientific understanding of the body and mind.
We believe that good teachers do not need to be perfect. They need authenticity, knowledge, compassion and the confidence to teach from their own experience. That is why we deliberately keep our groups small, creating a safe and supportive environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, grow and simply be themselves.
Our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed for teachers and practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of Yoga beyond physical practice through philosophy, anatomy, self-practice and authentic teaching experience.

Sukshma Vyayama techniques are powerful traditional yogic practices that help remove energetic blockages and activate the subtle pranic body. These repetitive strengthening and mobilizing movements are synchronized with the breath to rejuvenate the joints, improve circulation and develop deeper body awareness.
From a modern scientific perspective, Sukshma Vyayama can also be understood as a sophisticated whole-body movement system that works dynamically with the fascial network of the body. The exercises support fascial continuity, elasticity, coordination, rebound capacity and sensory awareness.
In this advanced 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, we cover the complete series of 48 Sukshma Vyayama exercises introduced by Sri Dhirendra Brahmachari and explore both their traditional yogic purpose and their relevance in a modern movement context.
Chakras are energy centers located in our pranic body. They connect our physical and spiritual bodies and affect our physical, mental and emotional well-being. Located along our spinal cord we have seven main chakras.
For optimal health it is important for the chakras to be open and turning. Chakra meditation is a powerful technique to activate and purify our chakras. When the chakras are aligned there are no blockages in the physical, mental and spiritual areas. We feel energetic, stable and in our center.
