We are going deeper into Yoga philosophy to give you the keys to continue with your spiritual development on a deeper level. We put a special focus on Ashtanga Vinyasa, arm balancing and the ancient science of Ayurveda.

Program Highlights

In this 300 hours Yoga teacher training you will learn more about advanced Yoga asanas and their alignment. You will get new insights to implement into your own teachings and grow on your path as a teacher and student.

Yoga Philosophy

The Samadhi Pada, Sadhana Pada, Vibhuti Pada and Kaivalya Pada – We cover the four chapters of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras in this course offering you a greater understanding of his teachings and highlight their importance in our daily life.

We will also discuss the 18 chapters of the Bhagvad Gita. We give you more information about the three secrets of the Bhagvad Gita and you will realize that this scripture and its teachings are now as relevant as it was when it was written.

We will teach you how to use the knowledge of these important Yoga scripture in your everyday life, especially in particularly hard or over exciting times to keep the equanimity of your mind, no matter the external circumstances.

Two times a day you are going to practice asana. Traditional Hatha Yoga, the Primary series of Ashtanga Vinyasa and special arm balancing classes. Use these classes to focus on your own Yoga practice.

In the asana alignment classes we will break down the more advanced poses from Ashtanga Vinyasa and arm balancing. You will learn their right alignment and how to use props to support their effects on your physical, astral and mental body.

Ayurveda is the Science of Life. It is India’s ancient health system and one of the oldest medical systems in the world. Ayurveda is the protection of health and prevention of diseases by balancing body, mind, soul and environment. We will teach you the foundation of Ayurveda with the five elements end three doshas as key aspects. Our main focus will be on the ayurvedic diet and daily routines that help to prevent and treat different diseases.

In this 300 h Yoga training Greece we will have a daily pranayama practice where we practice different pranayama techniques. You will experience their effects and will understand of how to include them into your Yoga classes. We will introduce you to the concept of kumbhaka – breath retention. You will learn different variations of each pranayama, and get familiar with the pranayama techniques mentioned in the Hatha Yoga scriptures.

Meditation

Every day we will start with a meditation session. You will learn different meditation techniques and how to have an effective meditation practice.  You will learn the importance of meditation in the yogic life, the physical, mental and spiritual benefits and which asanas are best to prepare your body for long meditations.

In this 300 hour Yoga course you will learn shatkarma according to the Hatha Yoga Scriptures and practice these purification techniques every day.

How does Yoga help to reduce menstrual pain? How are our hormonal glands connected to the chakras? What are the effects of Pranayama on our immunity?

Only a few questions we are going to answer in the anatomy and physiology classes of this advanced yoga teacher training. To understand how the human body benefits from asana, pranayama and meditation we would like to give you a profound understanding of different body systems and how they work together.

Who is this 300 h Yoga teacher training program for?

The 300-hour YTT is designed for certified 200-hour yoga teachers who want to deepen their practice and expand their teaching skills. It is also suitable for Yoga practitioners, who have a 200 h certification looking for personal growth and advanced training.

While prior teaching experience is not mandatory, participants must have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program. A consistent personal practice is highly recommended.

What certification will I receive upon completion?

Upon successful completion of the training, you will receive a Yoga Alliance-certified 300-hour certification, which can be added to your credentials as an advanced teacher.

You should bring comfortable Yoga clothing, notebooks, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and swimwear for free time by the water and everything you think you need for a nice time in Greece. Yoga mats and other props, as well as all study materials are provided.
